Artist Bio

Jiayi Quek (°2000, Malacca, Malaysia) is a multidisciplinary artist who is currently studying in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore. In the last three years, Jiayi participated in various exhibition in Malaysia and Singapore. Some of her recent exhibition include "Mapping Memories", "Tales of Cities", "NAFA Open House", and "1 Malaysia Contemporary Art Tourism 2016". 

Apart from creative involvements, Jiayi also took part in various activities, including physical activities and music. In 2016, Jiayi was awarded the Jury Award in Yamaha Electone Festival in Malaysia. Since 2014, Jiayi also participated in various international Tchoukball competition such as the "3rd Asia Pacific Youth Tchoukball Championship", "4th World Youth Tchoukball Championship", "4th Asia Pacific Youth Tchoukball Championship", and "5th Asia Pacific youth Tchoukball Championship".

Jiayi currently lives and studies in Singapore. At present, she is making new works and preparing for future exhibitions.
